Free Speech and Free Press

With the rise of Podcasters and independent news organizations, there will attempts to stifle or prevent news reporting.  Such podcasting or reporting is usually problematic for politicians, government agencies, and others, who do not want the truth to come out.  When this happens, many operators of Podcasts or news organizations may not know who to turn to in such a moment of need.  We want to represent you and protect you and your Freedom of Speech under the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States. The First Amendment created fundamental rights, including the Freedom of Speech.  This fundamental right protects “we the people” and it allows us to share ideas, ask tough questions, and promote thoughts. When politicians try to prevent us from speaking freely, they are attempting to stop the sharing of ideas and knowledge. The First Amendment prevents the government from controlling our speech. Of course, there are limits on the First Amendment as it does not protect speech that is defamatory, slanderous, or libel. We want to help you navigate around these complicated issues to keep you within the limits of the Constitution. We are here to protect your rights, and advocate for your First Amendment rights.
